Happy Anniversary to me!

No, it's not my wedding anniversary.  But it is my 9th anniversary of being on staff at Hesston MB Church. 

I began working at the church on November 1, 2008.  I have enjoyed my time as a pastor at Hesston MB and the many people I have met over the years.  It has been fun watching the children grow up and grow in relationship with God and others.  I am thankful for the opportunity to be called to serve here as a pastor.  I look forward to what God will do in and through this church in the years ahead.

Sermon Notes "Plans" based on Acts 10:24-48

Introduction: I would like you to think about the word “plans”. Write down on your bulletin some plans you have for: this week, summer, your future, etc.   I am a planner so I love to know what is going to happen.   Yet we also need to keep in mind a Scripture from Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” We are going to see from the story of Peter and Cornelius, two great leaders who had plans yet God had a different plan and purpose for them and for others.
