Ready or Not?

Last night, was our registration night and parent's meetings for our Wednesday night children's ministries. I was pleased with the turn out and the excitement that was in the room. It is great as a pastor to see the leaders that you have recruited and trained begin serving. It is equally exciting to see parents who are interested in how the church will be partnering with them in the spiritual development of their children.

All of that excitement helps in the busyness of this time of year. As many of you know, a lot of the preparation begins long before registration night. My children's workers have been busy recruiting and putting together informational materials for the coming year. I have been busy editing devotions & helping train & equip leaders. All of this to say: ministry takes a lot of work and effort.

I am thankful for the team of leaders for our Wednesday night ministries. As a pastor, I could not do it without them. Thank you to everyone who serves as workers with Hide N Seek, fuzion, LIFE, & Hesston Youth! You are a blessing and I pray you will be blessed as you serve God and our young people.
